The IAC Peter Coles International AV Competition



Just a reminder that 'The IAC Peter Coles International AV Competition' is being held on Saturday 10th March 2012 and Sunday 11th March 2012 at the Capel Curig Community Centre, Capel Curig, Snowdonia


We will be starting the competition on Saturday as usual at 2.00pm. We are arranging a meal (optional) at the Tyn-y-Coed Hotel for early evening  then holding another shortish session in the evening. Sunday 11th March sessions will begin at 10.00am & 2.00pm. We hope to finish around 5.00pm - 6.00pm.


Cost is £7.50 for each day. We would love to see you for the weekend but you are welcome to come for just one of the days. Booking is essential through me mewaine@chasingthelight.co.uk.


We have had a good entry of approx 60 sequences and it would be great if you could join us!

Natural Fractals

What are natural Fractals?
A cauliflower is one simple example from everyday life. You can see in the picture that each floret of the cauliflower is like a miniature of the whole cauliflower. Also each floret is composed of tiny sub-florets, and this pattern continues on at least another level below that.
